A Civil Partnership Ceremony offers you and your partner the opportunity to celebrate and gain legal recognition of your relationship in front of family and friends.

You can personalise your ceremony by adding a few words, having a member of your party read a piece of poetry or prose or having music played. You can discuss all these options with the Registrar prior to your special day.

At the time of your initial appointment, the Registrar will discuss all legal requirements and the format of your ceremony.
